• 2011- दिल्ली मेट्रो दुनिया का पहला ऐसा रेलवे नेटवर्क बना है जिसे संयुक्त राष्ट्र ने ग्रीन हाउस गैसों में कमी लाने के लिए 'कॉर्बन क्रेडिट' दिया है। संयुक्त राष्ट्र ने विज्ञप्ति में कहा है कि इस परिवहन प्रणाली ने शहर का प्रदूषण स्तर एक साल में 6,30,000 टन कम किया है।
